ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Uranium is stably stripped from an organic solvent containing a uranium-laden, amine-based extracting agent into an aqueous ammonium sulfate solu- tion with a very high stripping efficiency in a broad pH range by mixing the organic solvent, the aqueous ammo- nium sulfate solution and an alkali as a pH-controlling agent, and subjecting the resulting mixture to the action of a centrifugal force, thereby separating it into the organic solvent and the aqueous ammonium sulfate solu- tion.
