The invention is a new process for the production of a hollow structural column or rod in polymers, obtained by assembling modules having shorter length, comprising two or more elongated modules, each one provided with male- female truncated cone-shaped terminal parts (56, 56), wherein the inner surface of the "female" terminal part (56) has a taper angle that is identical to the taper angle of the outer surface of the "male" terminal part (53), and comprising the following steps: aligning said hollow modules; preparing said male and female terminal parts with adhesive for glueing and insertion in the terminal part of the adjacent, aligned module; applying, preferably at the ends, an axial compression device, so that on compression of the ends of the rod made up of said modules each external male tapering surface adheres to and exerts a suitable pressure on the internal female tapering surface of the adjacent module during the structural joining and glueing of the terminal parts and the polymerisation of the adhesive.
L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé permettant de produire une colonne de structure creuse ou une tige en polymère, que l'on obtient par assemblage de modules de longueur plus courte, comprenant au moins deux modules allongés, chacun pourvu de pièces terminales tronconiques mâle-femelle (56, 56). La surface interne de la pièce terminale <= femelle >= (56) présente un angle de conicitéidentique à celui de la surface externe de la pièce terminale <= mâle >= (53). Ledit procédé consiste en outre : à aligner lesdits modules creux ; à préparer lesdites pièces terminales mâle et femelle au moyen d'un adhésif aux fins du collage et de l'introduction dans la pièce terminale du module aligné contigu ; à appliquer, de préférence aux extrémités, un dispositif de compression axiale, de sorte que, au moment de la compression des extrémités de la tige faite desdits modules, chaque surface conique externe mâle adhère, en exerçant sur elle une pression appropriée, à la surface conique interne femelle du module contigu pendant l'assemblage de structure et le collage des pièces terminales ainsi que la polymérisation de l'adhésif.
