The present invention relates to a process for the alkoxylation of a monool with at least one alkoxylating agent to an alkoxylated alcohol wherein a catalyst is employed which comprises a metallo-organic framework material of metal ions and at least bidentate coordinately bound organic ligands.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour réaliser l'alcoxylation d'un monoalcool au moyen d'au moins un agent de alcoxylation de façon à obtenir un alcool alcoxylé. Selon ce procédé, on emploie un catalyseur qui comprend un matériau de structure organométallique constitué d'ions métalliques et de ligands organiques au moins bidentates, liés par coordination.
