Process for the carbonylation of an acetylenically unsaturated compound by reaction with carbon monoxide and a co-reactant in the presence of a catalyst system based on (a) a source of platinum; (b) a source of anions and (c) a diphosphine of the following formula (1) R1>P-R2-PR3R4 wherein R2 represents a covalent bridging group, R1 represents a bivalent radical that together with the phosphorus atom to which it is attached is an optionally substituted 2- phospha-tricyclo[3.3.1.1{3,7}]decyl group or a derivative thereof in which one or more of the carbon atoms are replaced by heteroatoms ("2-PA" group), and wherein R3 and R4 independently represent univalent radicals of up to 20 atoms or jointly form a bivalent radical of up to 20 atoms.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'effectuer une carbonylation d'un composé insaturé en acétylène en le faisant réagir avec un monoxyde de carbone et un co-réactif, en présence d'un système catalyseur comprenant (a) une source de platine, (b) une source d'anions et (c) une diphosphine représentée par la formule (1) R?1¿>P-R?2¿-PR?3¿R?4¿, dans laquelle R?2¿ représente un groupe de pontage covalent, R?1¿ représente un radical bivalent qui forme, avec l'atome de phosphore auquel il est lié, un groupe 2-phospha-tricyclo[3.3.1.1{3,7}]décyle éventuellement substitué, ou un dérivé de celui-ci, dans lequel un ou plusieurs atomes de carbone sont remplacés par des hétéroatomes (groupe <= 2-PA >=), et R?3¿ et R?4¿ représentent indépendamment l'un de l'autre des radicaux monovalents pouvant compter jusqu'à 20 atomes, ou forment ensemble un radical bivalent pouvant compter jusqu'à 20 atomes.
