A B S T R A C T This invention relates to a process for the catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oils and to a catalyst suitable for this process. The process for the cracking of hydrocarbon oils is carried out in the presence of a zeolitic catalyst which contains small quantities of heavy metal(s), 0.01-2/5% by weight of boron and 0.01-2.5% by weight of tin. Application: Production of motor fuels.
