Disclosed is a method for continuously producing tubular composite or compound membranes comprising a porous substructure (support layer) which essentially provides the membrane with mechanical resistance, and a layer that is applied thereupon, is made of a material having a different chemical property, and substantially provides the membrane with separating properties (separation layer). According to the inventive method, a corresponding flat composite membrane is shaped into a tube in the longitudinal direction or in a spiraling manner, the separation layer facing inward, whereupon said tube is welded or bonded edge to edge or in an overlapping manner, a strip of a solidifying sealing material is applied to the edge seam or the interior overlapping area from inside, and the sealing material is solidified.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production continue de membranes tubulaires composites ou composées, comprenant une structure inférieure poreuse (couche support) qui confère à la membrane essentiellement une résistance mécanique, ainsi qu'une couche qui est disposée sur ladite structure inférieure poreuse, est constituée d'un matériau présentant une propriété chimique différente et confère à la membrane essentiellement des propriétés de séparation (couche de séparation). Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à déformer une membrane composite plate ainsi constituée, dans la direction longitudinale ou de manière spiralée, pour former un tube, la couche de séparation étant tournée vers l'intérieur ; à souder ou coller le tube formé, bout à bout ou de manière chevauchante ; à appliquer, par l'intérieur, une bande de matériau d'étanchéité solidifiable sur la soudure bout-à-bout ou la zone de chevauchement interne ; et à solidifier ledit matériau d'étanchéité.
