Abstract of the disclosure: In the process for the pad-dyeing or printing of mate- rials consisting of, or containing, polyester or polyamide fibers or filaments, whereat in known manner the said mate- rials are padded or printed with an aqueous liquor or print- ing paste of disperse dyestuffs, and subsequently the dye- stuffs are fixed by means of liquid or gaseous methylene chloride or of both of the said phases of methylenechloride, the improvement that a dyestuff of the formula Image (1) in which R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, is applied.
