ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process of electrodepositing on a substrate a layer of ferro-nickel alloy, using as a soluble anode an anodic basket which is filled with granules of ferro-nickel having a structure which is basaltic or is equi-axed without a dentritic substructure and having a composition, by weight,of: nickel, with or without cobalt impurity, 20% to 90%; not more than 1% and not less than 0.1% in total of silicon, manganese, magnesium, aluminum and calcium; iron, the remainder of the composition.
