An apparatus and a process are described for reducing the content of NO x and N2O in process gases and waste gases. The apparatus encompasses at least one catalyst bed comprising a catalyst which is substantially composed of one or more iron-loaded zeolites, and two reaction zones, where the first zone (reaction zone I) serves for decomposing N2O and in the second zone (reaction zone II) NO x is reduced, and, located between the first and second zone, there is an apparatus for the introduction of NH3 gas.

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour réduire la teneur en NOx et en N2O de gaz de processus et de gaz brûlés. Ce dispositif comprend au moins un lit catalytique comportant un catalyseur, qui contient essentiellement une ou plusieurs zéolithes chargées de fer, et deux zones de réaction, la première (zone de réaction I) servant à la décomposition de N2O, et la deuxième (zone de réaction II) à la réduction de NOx. Un dispositif pour introduire du gaz ammoniac est placé entre la première et la deuxième zone.
