ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE : The present invention relates to a process for the esterification of halosilanes by reaction with alcohols, characterized in that the reaction takes place in the presence of chlorohydrocarbons and in the absence of acid-binding means. The alcohols are selected from the group consisting of primary or secondary alcohols and phenols. Several organosilaneesters are used as building preservative agents.
