ABREGE DESCRIPTIF La présente invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'un implant intra-orbitaire, ainsi qu'un implant intra-orbitaire. Cet implant est réalisé par revêtement intégral d'un noyau sphérique, en matériau synthétique bio-compatible, de préférence souple, au moyen d'une couche uniforme d'un matériau synthétique bio- compatible micro-poreux, épousant étroitement le noyau sphérique; la couche est par exemple formée de deux bandes indentiques de ce matériau synthétique bio- compatible micro-poreux, disposées suivant des plans moyens respectifs équatoriaux et mutuellement perpendiculaires, et mutuellement jointives bord à bord. Utilises après énucléation ou éviscération, de tels implants autorisent une colonisation par les tissus naturels, évitant ainsi les risques de rejet.
