PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de polymérisation du chloroprène ou d'un mélange de chloroprène et de jusqu'à 30% en poids d'un monomère copolymérisable, en émulsion aqueuse alcaline en présence d'un initiateur radicalaire et d'agents de transfert de chaines, caractérisé en ce que, comme agents de transfert, on utilise conjointement au moins un composé (1) choisi dans le groupe constitué par les disulfures de xanthogène et au moins un composé (2) choisi dans le groupe constitué par les polysulfures de bis(acyla- minophényl). L'invention concerne également les polychloroprène et leurs mélanges. Ces polymères présentent un bon vieillissement et ont à l'état vulcanisé d'excellentes caractéristiques mécaniques et dynamiques.
