ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Process for the separation of fillers and paper fibers by flotation whereon, after flotation of the printing ink, 1. water-soluble salts of trivalent metal ions are added to the aqueous paper pulp suspensions and wherein pH values of 4.5 to 9 are present, and 2. the paper pulp suspensions are floated after addition of 0.1 to 8 g of anionic surfactants per kg paper pulp.
