Pour stabiliser l'activité catalytique, on incorpore du soufre au catalyseur. La présente invention permet de remplacer ou supprimer les CFC nocifs pour la couche d'azote par des hydrofluorocarbures (HFC), dont l'impact sur l'ozone devrait être nul.
