A method is described for improving water quality or correcting and adjusting important chemical parameters of the water in biological tank systems, such as aquaria (warm, cold, fresh or salt water), garden ponds, carp pools, water gardens and large aquaria (zoos, public aquaria) whereby the following are added to the tank system individually or arbitrarily combined: a) for reduction of phosphate concentration, at least one highly or poorly soluble Al3+, Fe3+, TiO2+, ZrO2+ or Ca2+ salt of an organic carboxylic acid, optionally mixed with an organic carboxylic acid; b) for reduction of nitrate concentration or limiting nitrate increase, at least one water soluble N-free biologically degradable organic compound; c) for an increase in carbonate hardness or the HCO3- concentration, at least one alkali or earth alkali metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid; d) for an increase in total hardness or the concentration of Ca2+ and Mg2+ hydrogen carbonates, a mixture of at least one Ca2+ and Mg2+ salt of organic carboxylic acids and e) for an increase in CO2 concentration at least one biologically degradable compound and an appropriate single- or multi-component product.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la qualité de l'eau, avec correction et réglage éventuels d'importants paramètres chimiques de systèmes de bassins de réception biologiques, tels que des aquariums (eau chaude, eau froide, eau douce, eau salée), des pièces d'eau de jardin, étangs à carpes, étangs et grands aquariums (zoos, aquariums publics), consistant à ajouter auxdits bassins de réception, les produits ci-après, isolément ou en combinaison : a) pour l'abaissement de la concentration en phosphate, au moins un sel facilement ou difficilement soluble de Al?3+¿, Fe?3+¿, TiO?2+¿, ZrO?2+¿ ou Ca?2+¿ d'un acide carboxylique organique, le cas échéant, mélangé avec un acide carboxylique organique ; b) pour l'abaissement de la concentration en nitrates ou la limitation de l'accroissement en nitrates, au moins un composé organique biodégradable, exempt de N, soluble dans l'eau ; c) en vue d'accroître la dureté carbonatée ou la concentration en HCO¿3??-¿, au moins un sel alcalin ou alcalinoterreux d'un acide carboxylique organique; d) en vue d'accroître la dureté totale ou la concentration en hydrogénocarbonates de Ca?2+¿ et Mg?2+¿, un mélange composé d'au moins un sel de Ca?2+¿ et de Mg?2+¿ d'acides carboxyliques organiques, et e) en vue d'accroître la concentration en CO¿2?, au moins un composé biodégradable, avec un produit mono- ou multi-composant approprié.
