ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a process for the manufacture of N-(4-benzenesulfonyl)-5-O-desosaminyl-erythromycilamine derivatives from N-(4-R-benzenesulfonyl)-erythromycilamine by reaction with diluted mineral acids. These compounds have an activity on some pathogene micro-organisms as well as a synergistic activity with trimethoprime.
