- 1 - HOE 89/F 173 Abstract of the Disclosure: Process for the manufacture of a poly-1-olefin Polyolefins with a broad molecular weight distribution are obtained in very high yield, with a catalyst based on a reaction product of a magnesium alcoholate and titanium tetrachloride, by removing part of the soluble reaction products from the hydrocarbon-insoluble reaction product of the magnesium alcoholate and titanium tetrachloride, and then heating said reaction product for 8 to 100 hours at a temperature of 110 to 200°C.
