PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF HIGH VISCOSITY LUBRICATING OILS ABSTRACT High viscosity lubricants are formed by oligomerizing a lower olefin feed to obtain distillate range hydrocarbons in the presence of an aluminosilicate zeolite such as ZSM-5, and the distillate effluent is further polymerized to lubricant range hydrocarbons at elevated temperatures in the presence of a ditertiary alkylperoxide.
