Novel guanidinium aspartates Abstract The L-arginine salt of N-(D)-{[2-(2,6-dichloro- phenylamino)phenyl]acetyl}aspartic acid, represented by the formula Image (I) in which AmH ? represents the cation derived from L-arginine Am of the formula Image (II), and its hydrates exhibit an excellent water-solubility and a physiologically favourable pH value and also a pleasant taste in aqueous solutions and are therefore excellently suitable for enteral and parenteral forms of administration and can be manufactured by methods known per se.
