DESCRIPTIVE ABSTRACT The invention relates to a process for the polarization of the nuclei of a solvent in magnetometry or gyrometry using a nitroxide radical in accordance with the formula: Image (I) in which R1, R2, R3 and R4, which can be the same or different, represent preferably CD3 and N represents 14N or 15N. For temperatures of 30 to 130°C, the solvent used is preferably water or a muxture of water and diglyme or water and dioxan. This radical dissolved in such a solvent can be used as a sample 8 in a magnetometer probe without forbidden axis. (Fig. 1) B 10186.3 MDT
