Process for the polymerization of olefins CH=CHR, in which R is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical with 1-12 carbon atoms, carried out in the presence of a catalyst component (A) comprising Mg, Ti and halogen as essential elements and of a catalyst component (B) capable to produce, under the same polymerization conditions, a polymer with an average particle size lower than that obtainable with the said catalyst component A. The said process provides polymers with increased bulk density.

L'invention concerne un procédé de polymérisation d'oléfines CH¿2?=CHR, dans lesquelles R est hydrogène ou un radical hydrocarboné qui comporte entre 1 et 12 atomes de carbone. Ce procédé est réalisé en présence d'un composant catalyseur (A) comprenant Mg, Ti et halogène en tant que composants essentiels; et d'un composant catalyseur (B) pouvant produire, dans des conditions identiques de polymérisation, un polymère présentant une taille moyenne de particule inférieure à celui pouvant être obtenu au moyen du composant catalyseur A. Ledit procédé permet d'obtenir des polymères présentant une densité apparente augmentée.
