ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure describes a process for the precipita- tion of a metal from a solution containing metal ions by the addition of a finely granulated precipitation agent. The reac- tion is carried out in a vibrating reactor which is at least partly filled with agitating elements. The latter are inert to- wards the reagents and their specific weight is specifically greater than that of the solution. This process is less costly, more easily monitored and less complicated thus allowing the highest possible percentage of pure precipitation metal to be obtained.
