The invention relates to a method for producing a phenylene-bis-benzimidazole- tetrasulfonic acid disodium salt which is largely free from impurities. Said method involves reacting o-phenylene diamine with terephthalic acid and chlorosulfonic acid in the presence of strong acids, with a reaction time of 10 to 15 hours.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un sel disodique de l'acide phénylène-bis-benzimidazol-tétrasulfonique, largement dépourvu d'impuretés. Ce procédé consiste à faire réagir de l'o-phénylènediamine avec de l'acide téréphtalique et de l'acide chlorosulfonique, en présence d'acides forts avec un temps de réaction de 10 à 15 heures.
