La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de 5-aryle-2,4-dialkyle-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones représenté par la forrmule générale (I) dans laquelle "R" est halogène, alkyle ou alcoxy; "n" vaut 1 ou 2 et R¿2? et R¿3? sont obtenus par mélange d'un dialkyle-thiosemicarbazide (1) avec une base puis par réaction du mélange avec un chlorure de benzoyle (2).
