Method for the preparation of beta -phenylglycidic-(2R,3R) acid optionally in the form of salt or ester by precipitation of the salt of the beta -phenylglycidic-(2R,3R) acid with (+)- alpha -methylbenzylamine-(R) in a solution of a mixture of salts of cis and trans beta -phenylglycidic acids with (+)- alpha -methylbenzylamine-(R). Utilisation of the resulting product for implementing the method for the preparation of taxol and its analogues.

Procédé de préparation de l'acide .beta.-phénylglycidique-(2R,3R) éventuellement sous forme de sel ou d'ester par précipita- tion du sel de l'acide .beta.-phénylglycidique-(2R,3R) avec la (+)-.alpha.- méthylbenzylamine-(R) dans une solution d'un mélange des sels des acides .beta.-phénylglycidique cis et trans avec la (+)-.alpha.- méthylbenzylamine-(R). Utilisation du produit obtenu par la mise en ~uvre du procédé pour la préparation du taxol et de ses analogues.
