PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une 2,3- dihydroxyquinoxaline par oxydation d'une quinoxaline au moyen de peroxyde d'hydrogène dans un solvant inerte, caractérisé en ce qu'on exécute l'oxydation en présence d'eau et d'un catalyseur sélectionné parmi le selénium et les composés du sélénium. Ce procédé permet la fabrication de 2,3-dihydroxyquinoxalines substitués ou non- substitués avec des rendements plus élevés que ceux des procédés connus et des durées de réaction sensiblement plus courtes.
