Cette substance est obtenue par épuisement à l'aide d'un solvant chloré du mycélium de fusarium equiseti et purifica- tion par les méthodes usuelles de la biochimie. Ladite substance possède des propriétés pharmacologi- ques intéressantes. Elle manifeste notamment des propriétés immu- nomodulatrices qui la rendent apte à être utilisée en thérapeutique humaine ou animale, comme médicament anti-microbien et anti-viral.
