Process for preparation of a paraffin isomerisation cata- lyst comprising a mixture of a Group IVB metal oxide, a Group VIB metal oxide, a Group IIIA metal oxide and a Group VIII metal, the process comprising the steps of (a) contacting a hydroxide of the Group IVB metal with an aqueous solution of an oxyanion of the Group VIB metal to provide a mixture, (b) drying the mixture to provide a dry powder, (c) kneading the powder with a Group IIIA hydroxide gel and a polymeric cellulose ether compound to form a paste, (d) shaping the paste to form a shaped material, (e) calcining the shaped material to form a calcined mate- rial, (f) impregnating the calcined material with an aqueous so- lution of a Group VIII metal salt to provide the catalyst, and (g) calcining the catalyst.
Procédé de préparation d'un catalyseur d'isomérisation de paraffine comprenant un mélange d'un oxyde de métal du groupe IVB, d'un oxyde de métal du groupe VIB, d'un oxyde de métal du groupe IIIA et d'un métal du groupe VIII. Le procédé comprend des étapes a) de mise en contact d'un hydroxyde de métal du groupe IVB avec une solution aqueuse d'un oxyanion du métal du groupe VIB pour obtenir un mélange, b) de séchage du mélange pour obtenir une poudre sèche, c) de pétrissage de la poudre avec un gel d'hydroxyde du groupe IIIA et d'un éther de cellulose pour former une pâte, d) de mise en forme de la pâte, e) de calcination du matériau mis en forme pour obtenir un matériau calciné, f) d'imprégnation du matériau calciné par une solution aqueuse d'un sel d'un métal du groupe VIII pour obtenir le catalyseur, et g) de calcination du catalyseur.
