Process for the preparation of a melanin pigment with a very small grain size, 100 % of the particles thereof having a grain size of less than 1 mu m. The process consists in solubilizing a natural or synthetic melanin in an aqueous medium containing at least one alkalinizing agent and/or at least one sequestering agent and in precipitating the melanin so solubilized by adding at least one alkaline-earth metal salt. The invention also concerns the use of said pigment in cosmetic treatment compositions and in hair dyeing.
2139115 9425531 PCTABS00168 La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'un pigment mélanique de très faible granulométrie dont 100 % des particules ont une granulométrie inférieure à 1 µm consistant à solubiliser une mélanine d'origine naturelle et/ou synthétique dans un milieu aqueux contenant au moins un agent alcalinisant et/ou au moins un agent séquestrant, et à précipiter la mélanine ainsi solubilisée par addition d'au moins un sel de métal alcalino-terreux. L'invention a également pour objet l'utilisation de ce pigment dans des compositions de traitements cosmétiques et pour la teinture des cheveux.
