PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de solutions d'hydroxychlorures d'aluminium. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que ces solutions sont obtenues par neutra- lisation partielle opérée à froid au moyen de composés basiques d'ammonium, des métaux alcalins et des métaux alcalinoterreux de solutions d'hydroxychlorures d'aluminium d'un degré de basicité inférieur à celui des solutions à obtenir ou de solu- tions de chlorure d'aluminium; ces solutions peuvent en outre contenir différents anions autres que le chlore. Ces colutions sont particuliérement destinées au traitement des eaux et effluents aqueux.
