The invention relates to a process for the preparation of closures for imperviously sealing packaging containers, by which a sealing composition is applied and stoved onto the inside of the closures, wherein the sealing composition contains (A) 65 to 93% by weight of a liquid, blocked diisocyanate; (B) 2 to 15% by weight of a liquid diamine and/or polyamine; (C) 0 to 25% by weight of pigments and/or fillers; (D) 0 to 20% by weight of one or more reactive diluents; (E) 0 to 8% by weight of auxiliaries and additives, wherein the sum of the proportions by weight of the components A to E is 100% by weight in each case. The invention furthermore relates to the closures prepared by the process according to the invention and also to packaging containers which contain these closures.
