Selon le procédé de l'invention, les dérivés de l'acide hexahydropyridazine-3-carboxylique sont préparés en faisant réagir un composé de formule (II) (voir formule II) avec un composé de formule (III) (voir formule III) en présence d'une base dont le pK est égal ou supérieur à 8,5, dans un solvant organique cétoniqe pour obtenir un composé intermédiaire qui n'est pas isolé et qui est traité par un milieu aqueux basique. Grâce à ce procédé les dérivés sont obtenus plus rapidement est plus économiquement.
