A liquid phase fluorination process for producing difluoromethane without corrosion is provided. In the process of this invention, methylene chloride and hydrogen fluoride are reacted in a reactor made of fluorinated polymer to produce a reaction product while a heated recycle stream of process reactants is fed into the reactor.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fluoration en phase liquide qui permet de produire du difluorométhane en évitant la corrosion. Selon le procédé de l'invention, on fait réagir du chlorure de méthylène avec du fluorure d'hydrogène dans un réacteur fait en polymère fluoré, et ce pour obtenir un produit de réaction lorsque le réacteur est alimenté par un flux de recyclage chauffé qui comprend les réactifs de ce procédé.
