PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION : La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de fa- brication d'acides gras à partir de savons consistant à solubi- liser un savon dans un acide organique fondu, dont le radical est identique ou non à celui du savon, dans un rapport compris respectivement entre 2/1 et 0,2/1 à une température comprise entre 50°C et 150°C à l'abri de l'air et à pression atmosphé- rique, puis à acidifier le mélange par une solution aqueuse d'a- cide minéral, la quantité d'eau étant suffisante pour solubili- ser la totalité des sels minéraux formés.
