Disclosed is a process for producing a compound represented by general formula (II-a): (see formula I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or an alkali metal; and R2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group) [hereinafter referred to as Compound (II-a)] or the lactone form of Compound (II-a) [hereinafter referred to as Compound (II-b)] which comprises subjecting a compound represented by general formula (I-a): (see formula II) (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or an alkali metal; and R2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group) [hereinafter referred to as Compound (I-a)] or the lactone form of Compound (I-a) [hereinafter referred to as Compound (I-b)] to the action of an enzyme source derived from a microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus and capable of converting Compound (I-a) or Compound (I-b) into Compound (II-a) or Compound (II-b) in a reaction mixture to form Compound (II-a) or Compound (II-b) in the reaction mixture, and recovering Compound (II-a) or Compound (II-b) from the reaction mixture.
La présente invention concerne la préparation de composés représentés par la formule générale (II-a). Dans cette formule générale (II-a), R<1> est hydrogène, alkyle éventuellement substitué ou métal alcalin. R<2> est alkyle ou aryle éventuellement substitué. L'invention concerne également des lactones (II-b) issus des composés (II-a) par fermeture du cycle. Le procédé consiste à traiter un composé issu d'un bacille et représenté par la formule générale (I-a) dans laquelle R<1> et R<2> sont tels que décrits précédemment ou un lactone (I-b) issu d'un composé (I-a) par fermeture du cycle avec une enzyme capable de former les composés (II-a) ou (II-b) à partir des composés (I-a) ou (I-b) dans le fluide de réaction, et de récupérer le composé (II-a) ou (II-b) du fluide de réaction.
