ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Methylene diphenylene bis (dialkylureas) or polymethylene polyphenylene poly (dialkylureas) are prepared by reacting a methylene diphenylene diamine or a polymethylene poly- phenylene polyamine with isocyanic acid (HNCO) to convert the amino groups of the amines to urea groups (-NHCONH2) to give a bis urea or polyurea which is then reacted with a dialkyl amine having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms to produce the desired bis (dialkylurea) or poly (dialkylurea).
