ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A novel method is disclosed for forming micro- porous bodies having occluded in their interior active agents, such as enzymes. The method comprises the steps of admixing a polymer solution with an active agent concerned, dissolved or dispersed in a liquid phase compatible and miscible with the solvent used for dissolving the polymer. The final form of the microporus bodies can be imparted by extrusion, dripping and otherwise.
