Process for the preparation of mono-N-.beta.-cyanoethylanilines A b s t r a c t A new process for the preparation of mono-N-.beta.-cyanoethyl- anilines, characterlzed in that a substituted or unsub- stituted aniline compound is reacted with acrylonitrile in the presence of active bleaching earth as catalyst at a temperature of between 80 and 200°C in a nonaqueous reac- tion medium.
