PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé pour cristalliser du carbonate de sodium monohydraté au départ de solutions carbo- natées d'hydroxyde de sodium, le carbonate de sodium monohydra- té étant cristalisé in situ sur des germes cristallins de carbonate de sodium monohydraté obtenus par évaporation, entre 35 et 107,5°C, d'une solution aqueuse de carbonate de sodium exempte d'hydroxyde de sodium et l'invention s'appliquant à l'obtention de cristaux de carbonate de sodium monohydraté, par carbonatation des lessives caustiques obtenues par électrolyse de saumures de chlorure de sodium.
