Process for the preparation of N-carbonylarylimines of general formula (I) by desulphonating a sulphone of general formula (II). The N-carbonylarylimines of general formula (I) are particularly useful for the preparation of therapeutically active taxoids from baccatin III or 10-deacetyl baccatin III. In general formulae (I) and (II), Ar is an aryl radical, R is a t.butoxy or phenyl radical and Ph is an optionally substituted phenyl radical.

Procédé de préparation de N-carbonylarylimines de formule générale (I) par désulfonation d'une sulfone de formule générale (II). Les N-carbonylarylimines de formule générale (I) sont particulièrement utiles pour préparer des taxoïdes thérapeutiques actifs à partir de la baccatine III ou de la désacétyl-10 baccatine III. Dans les formules générales a) et (II) Ar représente un radical aryle, R représente un radical phényle ou t. butoxy et Ph représente un radical phényle éventuellement substituté.
