the present invention provides a process for the preparation of a nonracemic diastereorner of 1-(4-benezoxy-phenyl)-2-(4-hydroxy-4-phenyl-piperidin-1-yl)-1- propanol by hydrogenation of a corresponding noracemic 1-(4-benzoxy-phenyl)-2- (4-hydroxy-4-phenylpiperidin-1-yl)-1-1-propane using a catalyst system comprising ruthenium, a nonracemic diphosphine ligand, a bidentate amine ligand selected from amino-thioethers and achiral diamines, and a base.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à préparer un diastéréomère non racémique de 1-(4-benzoxy-phényl)-2-(4-hydroxy-4-phényl-pipéridin-1-yl)-1-propanol par hydrogénation d'une 1-(4-benzoxy-phényl)-2-(4-hydroxy-4-phénylpipéridin-1-yl)-1-1-propanone non racémique au moyen d'un catalyseur contenant ruthénium, d'un ligand de diphosphine non racémique, d'un ligand d'amine bidentée sélectionnés dans des thioeéhers aminés et des diamines non chirales et d'une base.
