PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: De nouveaux dérivés stéroides 17-spirosultines et les ?-hydroxy acides correspondants, répondant a la formule générale I: Image (I) dans laquelle R1 représente un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, A représente un atome d'hydrogène et B représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupement hydroxyle de configuration .beta., ou bien A et B forment ensemble un double liaison, X et Y représentent un groupement: Image ou bien X représente un groupement OH et Y un groupement: -CH2-CH2-?-OM dans lequel M représente un atome de métal alcalin ou bien un groupement NH4. L'invention vise également un procédé de préparation de ces nouveaux dérivés. Les dérivés de formule (I) possèdent une remarquable activité progrestomimétique, ainsi qu'une activité anti-aldostéronique.
