ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Process for the preparation of compounds of the formula (I): (I) Image in which R represents an ether or ester residue, and of their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts, comprising reacting an alcohol of the formula Image with a halo-derivative RX in which R has the above-defined meaning and X is a halogen atom, and optionally converting the free base of the compound of the for- mula I to a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt. The compounds I exhibit anti-blood-platelet aggregation activity and anti-thrombotic activity.
