PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Procédé de fabrication de poudres de ferrites de Ba, Sr et/ou Pb, destinées à être incorporées dans un liant élastomère, thermoplastique ou thermodurcissable, consistant partir d'un mélange d'oxyde de fer Fe2O3 et d'un carbonate de Ba, Sr et/ou Pb, à calciner ce mélange, à le laver à l'acide, à le rincer et à le sécher. Le procédé de l'invention est carac- térisé en ce qu'on ajoute au mélange initial au moins halogénure alcalin, en proportion totale de 0,5 à 15% du poids total du mélange et un ou plusieurs composés oxygénés du bore choisi dans le groupe constitué par les borates alcalins et les borates al- calino-terreux, en proportion de 0,2 à 7% du poids total du mélange et en ce qu'on effectue la calcination entre 850 et 1100°C pendant au moins 15 minutes. L'invention trouve son application notamment à la fabrication d'aimants permanents agglo- mérés flexibles ou rigides à hautes caractéristiques magnétiques.
