Abstract A single-stage process is disclosed for preparing a pulverulent filled rubber by combining a rubber latex, solution or emulsion with A filler suspension, waterglass and a water-soluble aluminium salt at a pH value of 3.0 to 3.7 maintained during the reaction by the addition of mineral acid. The filled rubber thereby obtained is separated from the aqueous phase and dried. The product can be used directly in the manufacture of vulcani ed rubbers possessing equivalent properties to conventionally produced vulcan- ised rubbers.
