PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Le composé 17.alpha.-éthinyl-(5.alpha.)-2-androstène-17-.beta.-ol est obtenu en soumettant un mélange de 17-céto (5.alpha.)-2-andros- tène et de 17-céto (5.alpha.)-3-androstène à l'action oxydante du réactif de Jones, en faisant passer le mélange réactionnel oxydé sur une colonne de chromatographie sur silice, en recueillant ensuite l'éluat benzénique de cette colonne puis en faisant réagir cet éluat avec l'acétylène au sein d'une solution de potassium dans l'alcool t-amylique. Le produit de la réaction est finallement recueilli par extraction et recristallisation. Ce produit trouve son application en thé- rapeutique humaine.
