PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un oxalate double d'ammonium et de terres rares ou d'yttrium consistant à mélanger, en milieu aqueux, des composés capables de libérer des ions oxalates avec un sel soluble de terres rares ou d'yttrium et un sel d'ammonium tel que le nitrate d'ammonium. Le précipité est ensuite séparé et lavé. L'oxalate double obtenu est transformé en oxyde de terres rares ou d'yttrium par calcination.
