Process for the preparation of thieno-pyridine derivatives ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a process for the preparation of thieno-pyridine derivatives which may be represented by either one of the following formulae; Image Image (I) (II) in which R represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical having 1-6 carbon atoms, and their acid addition salts with inorganic or organic acids. Said derivatives possess activities that make them useful in human and veterinary medicine. In addition, they may also be used as intermediates in the synthesis of a large number of derivatives used both in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. - 1 -
