The invention relates to a method for the production of 4-(17.alpha. substituted 3-oxoestra-4,9-dien-11.beta.-yl)benzaldehyd-(1E or 1Z)-oximes of general formula (I), where R1 = H, C1-6 alkyl or a CnF2n+1 group; R2 = C1-4 alkyl, X = E- or Z-OH; and Y = O-C1-6 alkyl, S-C1-6 alkyl or O-CH2CnF2n+1, where n = 1, 2 or 3, which produces the target compounds of formula (I) with high yield and selectivity.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de 3-oxoestra-4,9-dien-11 -yl)benzaldéhyd-(1E ou 1Z)-oximes substituées par 4-(17 de formule générale (I), dans laquelle R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un reste alkyle C1-6 ou un reste CnF2n+1, R2 est un reste alkyle C1-4, X est un groupe E- ou Z-OH et Y est un groupe alkyle O-C1-6, un groupe alkyle S-C1-6 ou un groupe O-CH2CnF2n+1, n représentant 1, 2 ou 3, lequel procédé permet l'obtention des composés cibles de formule (I) avec un rendement élevé et une grande sélectivité.
