Process for the production of a hydrogen rich gas without formation of hydrocarbons comprising water gas shift con- version of a gas containing carbon monoxide and steam at a temperature of between 400°C and 850°C in the presence of a catalyst, which catalyst comprises one or more of the ele- ments Mg, Mn, Al, Zr, La, Ce, Pr, and Nd, being able to form basic oxides, and mixtures thereof.
Procédé permettant de produire un gaz riche en hydrogène en évitant la formation d'hydrocarbures, qui fait appel à une réaction de conversion à la vapeur d'eau d'un gaz contenant du monoxyde de carbone et de la vapeur à une température entre 400 et 850 degrés Celsius en présence d'un catalyseur, ce catalyseur comprenant au moins un des éléments parmi le Mg, le Mn, l'Al, le Zr, le La, le Ce, le Pr et le Nd, étant capable de former des oxydes basiques, ainsi que des mélanges de ceux-ci.
